1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StopPaper, a digital workflow and form management platform operated by StopPaper, operated by StopPaper. By accessing or using StopPaper, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
StopPaper provides a cloud-based platform for creating digital forms, managing submissions, configuring approval workflows, capturing digital signatures, generating PDF reports, and organizing users and forms by department. The service includes analytics, role-based access control, and integration capabilities.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Account Registration and Responsibility
To use StopPaper, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
If you are using StopPaper on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use StopPaper only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
- Use the service to collect or process personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
5. Data Ownership and License
Your data: You retain ownership of the data you submit through StopPaper—including form submissions, attachments, and signatures. We do not claim ownership of your content.
License to us: You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your data solely to provide, operate, and improve the StopPaper service. This includes generating PDFs, maintaining audit trails, and enabling workflows as you configure them.
Our IP: StopPaper, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
6. Fees and Payment
Some features of StopPaper may be subject to fees. We will communicate pricing and payment terms before you incur charges. Fees may be quoted in USD or other currencies as applicable. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your use of the service.
7. Termination
You may stop using StopPaper at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the service for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable.
Upon termination, you may export your data within a reasonable period. After that, we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention practices.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
StopPaper is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StopPaper and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred (100) USD if you have not paid us.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StopPaper and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of StopPaper shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of StopPaper after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
